Mozilla Earlybird 6.02 Different Accounts

In Windows Xp i ran Eudora 7.1, well Eudora 7.1 will not work in Windows 7 64bit
So i downloaded Mozilla Earlybird 6.02 what i want to do is Run 5 of the same program different folders for different e-mail accounts can this be done?

Right now seems to default to one account

I don't know about Earlybird, but in Thunderbird you can definitely add multiple accounts. I think Earlybird is an - excuse the pun - early beta, so why not go with stable software instead?

from what i read is Earlybird is the 64bit version of thunderbird and i know about you can setup multi accounts in the same software but what i want is the same software for each account but one is not tied to the other each on it's own
does that make since?

I want 5 icons one for each account

Ah, I see. This should be quite easy if Whatever-bird (sorry ) accepts commandline arguments, you could simply add them to each shortcut.

I think i know what you mean BUT the Icon says it's going to start in that directory but still defaults to my Main E-mail account

I have each installed in there own Directory
Program Files\Internet\Newmanv
Program Files\internet\Superbee
and So on

Thunderbird uses most the files in User\Name\Appdata\roaming\Thunderbird\profiles

I did make more than one profile now it seems that the mail is now in there own area under each name

Did you install 5 separate copies of Thunderbird? It doesn't really work that way...but you seem to have figured out how to create multiple mail profiles, so I assume you're all set now?

I have only installed one other copy in an other dir. I know how to setup other profile The Main reason is i don't want my kids in my e-mail account i would have to set them all up in one program i don't like that each one will have there own icon and profile

not really...I'm still a bit confused. Isn't there a way to password-protect one or more of the profiles?
