Im using MP3 Tag to remove the covers (and other information) from my mp3 files. I already looked into the folder and there were no hidden jpg files there. When i then open the files with Windows Media Player, the removed things (cover, infos) come back. Sometimes the covers have nothing to do with the mp3 files itself (like you have transformers ost and you have a cover of mike tyson or something like that). And my question: How can i solve this?

Thanks.

have you checked the library settings in the wmp options.
make sure the add missing information box is unchecked etc.

Ok, it was not removed and now its removed, so these infos, covers will not return when the option is disabled, right?

And i just removed the thing that i didnt want on my mp3 files (covers, infos) and transferred them to my harddrive. so later i just wanted to hear music, and the removed infos, covers came back.

Now they are removed, so there is no infos, covers on the files on my harddrive, right?

sorry but you have slightly confused me.
what i was thinking was that wmp was replacing the covers etc .
checking the box to stop it doing that will help, so if that is done and the covers are still showing then its not wmp.
then we have to look at the files more closely.

No WMP just brought covers, infos back that i already deleted with MP3 Tag. And like i said, there are no hidden jpg files in the music folder, so this is not the problem. So i just unchecked the ''add missing information box''.

When i did this i removed for a second time the infos, covers with MP3 Tag and now i will see if they come back or not. So far no problems.
