Solved MS IE Hi Jacked?

All of a sudden when I use search the results page that comes up is Time Warner. I have my browser set to Bing. I have searched all places that I could think of and can't find where I am being Hi Jacked. Can somebody tip me off. BTW I have loaded ver 11 but it was doing it prior to that.

I hadn't tried reset. But It didn't work.
I have scanned with:
MBAM
CCleaner
Norton IE Security
Microsoft Security Essentials
SpyBot

In IE addons the search provider is set to Bing and it is the only one available. I have searched my disk for "Yahoo" and deleted all references. Yahoo and Time Warner are collaborating on search. I called Time Warner. I had language difficulties with them and the tech seemed not to have a clue. I asked for someone to contact me. No return so far. I pay them for Internet access not to set my homepage and search provider. Can you tell I am becoming agitated?

Open ie and Use Ctrl+E and see what shows up,

That key stroke expands a dropdown from the address bar. The only thing showing was a history list and a Bing icon representing my provider.

When you reset did you remember to Delete personal settings ?
Also when you first opened ie,
Did msn.com open
After reset and first opening ie you should get a popup box saying Add-ons are ready to be Enabled/ Click Don't enable.
Flash player should be the only suborn add-on which will not be disabled,
I would add this to the tutorials process

Also you say that Bing is the only "Available" search provider/ does this mean others are listed ?
Did you also remember to click on Show All add-ons on the bottom of the left column ?

Sounds like Time Warner is doing a DNS redirection on their end Bob. I found this thread on DSL Reports:

Not sure where this Opt out info is located, and since your contact with TWC was not very helpful, here's something to try.

Start> In search box type services.msc> Enter> Scroll down to DNS Client> Right click DNS Client> Properties> Set the service to Manual

See if Bing search returns. You'd ultimately have to have TWC fix this if I'm correct. Why the recent change would be a question as well.

If you get no help from them, you can see if switching DNS providers helps

Also, have you flushed out your DNS cache yet?

When you use TW's DNS provider, whenever you search for an unknown term, a TW page will come up. Sounds as if that may be the case, and changing your DNS provider like A Guy said will change that.

I used it. I forgot to add it when I was enumerating the scans.

I followed the suggestions in the tut. show all addons shows no more providers just bing.

You are correct the problem is on Time Warners end of it. The link you posted describes the problem to a tee. I did the services.msc it worked but it was not the problem. My hardware and software is in good shape. I have made three calls to the help line for them. The first call was dropped after I was on hold for some time. The second call was the one on which I was having a problem with the tech's heavy accent and neither of us was talking about the same thing. That is where I asked for some to contact me and they agreed and I hung up. I have had no call back except for a recording wanting to grade my experience. I stuck it to them there. The third call the guy could speak english but I don't think he had any computer savvy. He was trying to get me to uninstall a toolbar. I never mentioned a tool bar. While I was jacking him up, he either hung up or the call dropped again.
In the mean time I have found a work around. First I call up Bing's search page and the I begin the search. No more searching from the address bar.
