Two suggestions:
1. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/49819-icon-cache-rebuild.html
2. Go to e.g. the Word orb (top left in Word), then to Word Options > Resources > run Microsoft Office diagnostics. That may fix it for all office programs.
