Hello Win 7
I need permission from Trusted Installer to remove all the photos that this porgram scanned the hard drive for and installed. I was trying to import a single photo but this happened.
How do I change a setting so i can delete them?

One easy way to remove the picture shortcuts from MS Office Picture Manager is to close the program and then run Ccleaner. Just make sure that "MS Office Picture Manager" is checked in the "applications" tab of Ccleaner, before you run it.

That is a great idea to put in my computer tips folder.
Although I ran a registry restore which fixed it, I see that your idea can be used for many corrupted or stubborn files.
I used a new Win 7 registry back up that is for average people like me who cannot use erunt well. It is tweaking.com and it so ez even I can do do it.

You are welcome. I have used Ccleaner for a number of years now and have found it to safe and dependable. That being said, however, I still create system images on a regular basis, so if something ever does go amiss, I can easily put my computer back to the way it was. I also agree that backing up the registry regularly is a good thing to do.

Do you use the registry cleaner or just windows and applications under the cleaner?

Even with regular backups I do not use a registry cleaner per se.

I am sure, however, your skill level and mine are quite different.

I have used the registry cleaner without any problems, but always make a habit of backing things up first. Having an up to date system image has saved my bacon on more than one occasion!

My level of expertise with computers is limited at best, but I try to be careful and learn from bad experiences.

reg cleaners

I was taught never to use a reg cleaner as they allegedly do more than good. The applications and windows with other features are worthwhile in the program but ?? the cleaner itself.
Please be sure to image if you are going to run the cleaner.
