This morning I was sending a message and wanted to get a "Read Receipt" back when the message was read. I found the place where I could make it for all messages sent, but could not find out how I did it for just one message. Thanks,

Delivery receipts and read receipts in Outlook

To request a read receipt for a specific message:
On the View menu of the message, click Options.
Under Voting and Tracking options, click to select the Request a read receipt for this message check box, and then click Close.

I don't have 2003 anymore, howver, the 'Read Receipt' is usually available via the OPTIONS link when you are creating your email.
