Hello,

New HP PC. W7 Home Premium, 64 Bit

I installed MS Security Essentials.

Do I also need MS Windows Defender, or does Security Essentials do everything that Windows Defender did, or does ?

Thanks,
Bob

As usual Tews has given sage advice. As an additional note, you may want to look into this, too. Used by most members in addition to A/V. I have helped many posters who told me that their computer was clean until I suggested that they check with Malwarebytes, too.

You will like MSE.
