I just updated my computer's security updates.

Then I reviewed the list of security updates and noticed that 32-bit Security Update for MS Compatibility Pack Service Pack 3 editions installed but my computer is 64-bit.

What should I do?

And what is "safe" to remove in the list?

Windows 7 does not have SP-3.

What method did you use to get updates for Windows 7.
What was SP-3 update for.

That's most likely an update for your 32bit Office installation.

But I have a Windows 64-bit Win 7 OS.

I went into System and Security - Windows Update in the Control Panel and clicked to update from there. I had a message that 14 updates were missing and clicked to update them.

Then when I looked at "View update history", it said what I typed yesterday.

But now when I look at it again, it says "Update for Windows for x64-based Systems Successful" and "Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems Successful" ...

So, I guess it is okay after all.

I'm not sure why I saw the other thing yesterday but it seems be be okay now.
