MS Word 07 Fill Page with Text?

I use to be able to fill, expand or shrink, a letter to fit on one page. Maybe it was with Word Perfect? Maybe with MS Word, but I'm not finding it even after Googling.

I'm writing Christmas letters and some are short, maybe a 1/2 page. Others are longer, maybe 1 1/2 pages. What I'm currently doing is playing with margins and font sizes to get each letter to (fully) fill just one page.

I miss the 'one click' solution to get them to fit / fill just one page.

Any ideas on an easy way to do this?

Open a blank Word page & then set your margins etc.. Then open the offending document & then copy the typed contents only, using the mouse, then paste that into the new open Word page that you set up. This should allow you to make changes as needed. When finished be sure to save it, giving it a new name.

The option to "shrink to fit" is on the Print menu.

Open Print Window and select the Printer that you are going to use (or use Default Printer). Then under Zoom, select a scale to paper size option.
