Solved MS Word 10 Remove all tracking markups etc

Got a word document that serves as a company manual and I am in the process of updating it. Would like to remove all the "Markup" history that has accumulated over the past 10 years. When I save it and open it back up again it looks normal, however when I email it to my self, all the markups are there. I thought that saving it once the markups are taken off, it would remain in that state. Appreciate any assistance

Great link. Solved the "problem" File size went from 225kb to 27kb after all that removal. Tx.
