MS Word 2003 Help Needed

I have been battling this for a while and am hoping someone can help. I need to change my default margins in Word. If I hit "File", "Page Setup", I can change it for the page I am typing, but how can I change my default so that it comes up with the margins I want everytime? Thanks,

make desired changes
save file with same name "normal.dot"
all new documents will have format you set in normal.dot

Actually there's an easier way

Create a new document, change the margins to the way you want then click "default" then click "yes" when when prompted
