My MSE 2 beta just got an update, here are the versions:

Antivirus definition: 1.87.260.0

Network Inspection System Engine Version: 2.0.5850.0

Policy Name: FEP clean-up policy
Policy Applied: 10/11/2010 at 10:54

Notice the new entries.

MSE 2 has been removed from MS Connect, so Im guessing it has come out of beta?

Go to the update tab and hit update. It acts like a new install so you need to update it and make sure all your settings are what you want them to be.

FLM's version is also what is available for download on MS's website. I think it is just an update for the beta. If you look under settings those that have it will notice some new settings.

Have a look on Microsoft Products Accepting Bugs and Suggestions | Microsoft Connect, but I think they removed it.

edit: https://connect.microsoft.com/securityessentials found it.

I did some looking around and according to a guy on this thread, MS Forefront 2.0 had an update as well, also 2.0.522.0, which was labled as a Release Candidate. So this probably applies for MSE as well, meaning a final release should be coming relatively soon.
