Im running Zone Alarm at the moment, but my subscription is coming to an end, im thinkiung about not renewing it, as it is a bit resource heavy at times,
just wondering, if its worth getting MSE? what sort of footprint does it leave?

Hi, severedsolo.

Should you decide to switch to MSE, remember that you will also need a software firewall. Of course, the Windows 7 firewall works well in conjunction with MSE.

Hi, severedsolo.

As you can see Corrine already said they work well together

EDIT: wait, you edited your post? :p

as silly as this sounds, i never think of the windows firewall as a software firewall, probably because its just there and running in the background automatically, so when corrine said "youll need a software firewall" i was discounting windows firewall from that category (which is wrong of course)
