MSN/Windows Live Messenger Smilies

Hey guys, i was just wondering if you could help me with a problem. I am wanting to use the MSN smilies, for my forum, the same ones you guys have on here ) ).

Is it ok to use them or do i have to contact Microsoft and ask for permission?

I have already tried reading the Microsoft copyright part, but didnt really understand it too much and there wasn't a spefic section about MSN emoticons copyright.

those belong to microsoft. you will have much better luck browsing here deviantART: where ART meets application! and asking for some you like and asking the artist for permission to use them. usually as long as you credit them most are fine with it. assuming your not profiting from them.
