mspaint default tool and size changed

[FONT=&quot]When I used to open mspaint the pencil was the default tool and the default size was the thinnest. Now it defaults to the brush with a default size one step up from thinnest. Something changed but I don’t know what.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Is it possible to get it to default on something like the pencil or line, with a specific size (thickness)? This is annoying having to change the tool and its size all the time.[/FONT]

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
I never noticed Paint open with anything but the Brushes selected :/

I've never used the brushes or pencil between Paste the existing shapes list and type tool is about all I've ever used,
But yes brushes is always selected when paint is opened,
Been that way for ever,
So changing it ?
