I noticed everytime while I download some movies from mtorrent and at same time browse my computer locks up,programs stop (firefox) (no responding),task manager doesn't work, and the mouse icon becomes that blue circle and it continues to spin like pc is working on something...I usually put it like that 5-10 min but it won't stop and I must reboot it on pc case key.I'm not sure if it's mtorrent or not but it only happens while it's in background working.I will test my HDD's today and my RAM but I think they are OK...and will report you with results.
I hope someone too had this issue before..If I can send you that error report when it happens please tell me what to do.

To add to Maxie's advice I would also recommend to stop downloading movies. As well as opening your PC to all kinds of nasties, it's illegal, it's piracy and this forum doesn't support that
