Hey Guys,

I recently added two screens to my setup and now instead of closing tabs in my browsers, when I click with the mouse wheel on ANY window, it moves the window to another screen. I have been looking around and cant find out what is going on.

Relevant specs ----

OS --- Windows 7 Professional x64
Mouse -- Logitech G500

Thanks

Did you install any software as well? Do you have specific mouse software that allows you to change the button actions?

I do have SetPoint installed but the mouse wheel button is still set to generic mouse wheel click, ie varies in function depending on what you are doing.

I don't think that the software is the issue because I did not have this problem when I had one screen. I think that it must be a "feature" of windows 7 for when you have multiple screens but I cant find the setting anywhere.

I don't believe there is anything inherently built in to Windows 7 to control what a middle mouse click does based on number of monitors. That is all application-controlled, as you've seen. It's gotta be somewhere in the settings of the browser(s) you're using or the SetPoint software you have installed. You could also try checking in the mouse settings in the control panel just in case something has gone awry there.

So I figured it out, it was a problem with setpoint and the windows mouse controller interacting.
