Hi I have just bought a radeon HD 5770, with the idea of using 3 monitors, mainly to work, but perhaps to play the odd game, however I can get 2 monitors to work, but not the 3rd, monitors 1, 2, 3,
2nd monitor being the centre with the icons etc, no problem with the 2nd monitor, but I either can get monitor 1 or monitor 3, but not them both, can someone let me know what I am doing wrong,

Thanx in advance

You need to connect them in one of the following,

1. DVI, DVI, displayport

2. DVI, HDMI, displayport

You can not run 3 at the same time using DVI/DVI/HDMI, and if none of your monitors has a displayport then you need one of these,

Newegg.com - DIAMOND 5450PE512 Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) 512MB 64-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card

Thanx for this, I think it's very mis-leading of Radeon, it clearly states I can run 3 monitors, it's like everything else, I should have read the small print.

Thank You

Well, it wasn't really 'misleading'... The problem is, the marketing isn't really suppose to be 'technical'. The detail of what you need to do is, however. What some might look at you and go, "RTFM", so to speak.

Like for instance, I work at a company that uses a lot of laptops. The docking station allows people to hook up two monitors. I know some users who would like to be able to run two external monitors and the Laptop monitor. The thing is, the laptop chipset is only designed to drive two displays. So despite the fact that you have a VGA port and a Displayport, the card will only drive 2 displays at any given time.
