Multiplayer problem? (Win7 <-> XP)

Hello there, recently I installed a Win7 on my notebook(Toshiba a210), and everything works fine.

I have internet access trough router D-link 542, my notebook is connected by WiFi and my PC is connected by cable. I have internet on both computers and pings between computers looks fine. Only I cannot see Win7 on Xp, but I saw many solutions here.

And, my problem is:
I host game(LAN) on XP, and trying to connect it on Win7. It finds server with no problem, but when I'm trying to join it takes Loooong time and then Disconnect me Don't know what's wrong. I unblocked game on both computers but problem still shows. I also switched off firewall on Win7 and doesn't work.

Tried to host game on Win7 but sadly XP doesn't see it. Only on XP hosting works and I can see on my laptop.

Any Ideas?

I have access to shared folders on Win7. But my XP doesn't see Win7(so no access...). I think it's 'normal' because with Vista i had the same problem and multiplayer works fine.

I checked this, in my win7 workgroup's name is just 'WORKGROUP', and in my xp it's called 'MSHOME'. I try to rename it and check it now.

Changed name of workgroup, now in both machines it is 'MSHOME' and sadly problem with multiplayer still is

Ok I can see now Seven from my Xp, trying to open but there is login and password.

Ok I got it, now I have access to sharing folders in both ways

And game still doesn't work?
Try to play another game multiplayer and see if works!
