Whenever I have 4-5 instances of a game active (multi-clienting), my ping starts to dramatically increase by 50-100

This does not happen in windows xp. Both my win xp and win 7 are fresh installations.

Any ideas?

Why do you need to run multi-clienting? Pictures please.

Simplest answer I can think of:

When you have multiple instances of the same game connecting to other servers on the internet, your ping will obviously be higher. Ping is almost directly correlated with your internet connection, internet usage (which is why when you are downloading something your ping is probably like 300-500), and multiple connections.

Either A. Upgrade your internet, or B. Play one instance of the game
