i upgraded a friends rig 2 weeks ago to a i3 530, gigabyte mobo, OCZ 10666 2x2gb, win7 home prem. 64bit OEM, etc.
his rig worked fine a few days and then he started getting random BSOD, so i messed around with the ram(moved them to other slots etc.) since i have heard of this with other people and it worked for 3 days then it started BSOD again. i just took a stick of ram out now but i still don't know what to think of his problems. ram voltage? corrupt win7? idk. the things that threw me off aside from the BSOD was that random windows processes would crash while on the desktop or something like explorer.exe.
i am thankful for any help.
