Hi,I'm a newbie to this. I wonder if anybody can advise me if I'm liable to have any problems with setting up a system as follows:- I have just purchased an i5 processor 3.3ghz. 2 Terrabyte drive, have also a 500 gig drive and a 300 gig drive. The motherboard will be a Gigabyte Z67? board. My idea is to have the 2TB drive with 64 bit windows 7 Home premium, XP 32bit on the 500 gig and finally thinking of putting Linux on the 300 gig drive. Will have 8gb DDR3 1330 RAM. My worry is the 32bit only reading 3.5 gig would it be affected does anyone know please?

XP will not be able to use the whole 8Gig just as you thought but it will still work fine and map out 3.5 and the rest just does not get used. Have you thought about running Linux as a virtual machine that way you dont need all the extra drives.

You can ignore the XP 32 bit OS as Windows 7 x64 will work for almost all the 32 bit software. You will need XP for rare 16 bit applications, which you may not be having.
Windows 7 x64 will take the full benefit of the 8GB RAM. It will be a nuisanse for you to maintain applications for both OS's and switch between Win 7 x64 and XP.
Best scenerio would be to have Window 7 x64 and optionally have a dual boot Linux.
