Multiple BSOD a day

Hi,

I keep getting multiple BSOD a day on my dell inspiron 580. Sometimes even directly after it restarted after a crash. The first one occurred about a month ago.

I'm not really familiar with these forums and I will try to add as much information as possible.

I purchased something for my drivers from AVG, downloaded MSE just to be sure and ran some tests from Dell, with no results.

I also tried to fix it with CHKDSK before, but even in safe mode, it tells me there is not enough space or whatever it was to fix it/run it.

It says that the audio hardware (which is the motherboard component) is failing.

It is also noticed that you updated the driver. But that didnot help, the audio is still being blamed as failing.

It strengthens the notion that it is a hardware failure.

Before blaming the motherboard, test your RAM modules for possible errors; as a failing RAM can cause any sort of issue.

How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+

Run memtest86+ for at least 8 consecutive passes.

If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.
