Multiple BSOD... HeLp !

I had windows vista 32 bit which was getting crashed again and again becuase of BSOD and i thought it would go if i install windows 7 so i have installed windows 7 last night. It is a good OS but the problem of BSOD is still there. I have got BSOD many times since yesterday and sometimes it occurs without doing anything and that is really annoying . I have been reading about BSOD on the internet but didn't find anything helpfull resolving it. Found this forum just now and it is good that people are interested in helping somehow. I have read couple of posts already so i have the files which i thought might help in resolving my BSODs . These are the errors i got after reboot;

Welcome to SF and good on ya for reading about similar issues that others are experiencing

Suggestions:

1) Update your version of Norton anti-virus. At least one of the crashes is directly attributable to an ancient (2006) build of the NAV scan engine. If you can't update it for some reason, uninstall it. There is no way to make the old drivers behave themselves.

2) Update your BIOS for the other crash. If that doesn't completely resolve the "9F" crashes, upload more minidumps here on this thread as crashes occur.

1. I don't use Norton anti-virus but i have its setup in my D: drive - is it could be the cause?, i use symantec anti-virus and it is up2date. Symantec and Norton all from the same company, should i consider installing some other anti-virus program?

2. How to update BIOS for other crashes? and do i need to update my BIOS drivers? if yes, then how ?

1) Symantec = Norton. The Symantec AV product that is currently installed on your machine is very old and it is causing crashes. You should definitely update to a current (late 2009) AV product, whether from Symantec or another company.

2) The motherboard manufacturer should have a detailed set of instructions for how to update the BIOS on their website. The procedure is brand or even model-specific, but in most cases it's a matter of creating a bootable floppy disc, copying some files onto it, booting from the floppy, and then running one of the programs to "flash" (update) the BIOS code on the motherboard.

Updated BIOS but still the problem persists.... Just rebooted after another BSOD error

This crash is rather different from the first two.

It appears that the OS crashed while attempting to paint text in a MovieMaker window, and specifically while trying to deal with a font. It's not obvious which font, or at least not to me.

If you've installed any new fonts recently, their definitions may be buggy or corrupted.

Otherwise, just keep on uploading more minidumps as crashes occur. If the theory about the font is correct, and it's not just bad memory, then the crash patterns ought to be very consistent.
