Multiple BSoD, IRQL and Cache Manager.

Hello!

This is my first time doing really technical stuff since I always just try to avoid messing around with computers (I always end up making things worse). Basically, I've been having random blue screens ever since May last year - from the "BlueScreenView" program, it's mostly because of a driver called NETwNs64.sys (which leads to the IRQL_NO_LESS_THAN_EQUAL error and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED). I just recently got a CACHE_MANAGER error too, which is apparently caused by ntoskml.exe.

I've tried updating most of my stuff, though not through websites but by searching. I first thought it was because of my headset (from plugging/replugging constantly) or because of my internet adapter. However, it may be caused by a program called Connectify, which I use to connect my desktop - though I only recently started using Connectify and the Blue Screens were happening before that.

Any help would be much appreciated as this is really getting on my nerves. > <

Update it from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:
  • 2012-12-13_224441.jpg
  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Which antivirus do you use? MSE I guess? Scan the system for possible virus infection.

You have 29 startup entries. Free up the startup.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Let us know the results.

Hello!

Wow, I didn't know my drivers were that outdated... thank you very much for pointing it out to me. I've updated both graphics and wireless.

As for Daemon Tools, I did attempt to uninstall it but it gave me a Blue Screen half way through the uninstall twice, so I manually uninstalled it.

I'm not sure if this has fixed it, since the blue screens seem to happen randomly but I will be sure to keep my thread updated with the progress.

Thank you very much for your help!

OK, let us know how it goes. If there are further crashes, upload the SF diag tool output again.
