I hope someone can help. I have been recieving many random (to me) BSOD's.

The (Two month old) laptop gets so many that it cannot be booted into any Windows mode (including safe mode). My only option is to restore the PC using HP's F11 (factory restore).

I have managed to capture two .dmp files, and have attached the relevant items as per the sticky post.

So far I have clocked the following errors:
[STOP 0x000000F4]
[STOP 0X00000019] (BAD_POOL_HEADER)
[STOP 0X000000C4]
[STOP 0X00000050] (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA)

Many Thanks for looking

Your DMP's were dated March 11. 2012 so when {what date}did you uninstall Norton?

I did not- I used the normal uninstall procedure (I didn't realise after all these years Norton STILL requires a removal tool that they don't supply with the product)

Do my .dmp files point to Norton causing the problem?

Hmm. I'm not 100% sure. I will do a fresh install and use the proper uninstalled ad advised by your first post and see what happens. Could norton be causing all of the stop codes I listed?

It is a known problem and the only thing that seemed out of place.
