I recently have had BSOD happening when playing Trion's RIFT
It also started happening when i wasn't doing anything at all.
No applications open at all.

I used the tool to capture the error log and it is attached.

Thanks for any help

Diagnostic Test

 RAM TEST

arrow.png
Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 7 Forums

   Note
picture.php

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
If errors show up and you see them a lot later, no problem, the errors don't affect the test.

Did all the tests. It seems that memory slot 0 is the culprit.
Will post pic of MemTest 86+ later. Went through all the slots
and combinations of sticks. The first slot errors out repeatedly.
While the sticks in the other slots don't show any immediate errors.

I have attached all the items from CPUID CPU-Z

Many thanks

I ram memtest for around 7 hours generating a ton of errors, this was with all 4 slots filled.
I then ran tests on filling slots 1 and 2. 3 and 4. Then started doing single slot tests as well.
It seems that in every instance slot 0 as listed by memtest would fail. It didn't matter which ram stick was in that position. It would get errors.

Speculating, it seems that either all the ram is bad, the mother board or the power supply. It was all built about 5 years ago.

It sounds more like your motherboard is going bad.

Thank you. Went out and bought some new ram. Ran the tests with 2 sticks in slot 1 and 2, then 3 and 4. No errors at all. Grabbed another 2 new sticks of the same kind, then loaded all 4 slots. Got errors again on Slot 0, Test 5.

Did some research and set the bios to optimized settings. Same errors.
Went back into the bios and disabled legacy usb.

Now on 50 minutes in Memtest and no errors.

Hoping that this will fix it, will let it run overnight, then try the old sticks.

I bought Corsair DDR3 4 x 4GB 1600 MHZ sticks.

Will report in the mornig and see if there are any more errors.

****update ****
Getting Errors on test 5
