Hi, I have had this Lenovo G570 since september 2011. I have had Multiple BSODissues most recent APC_INDEX_MISMATCH and stop 0x0000024. I also have had a few when I am using windows media player and place the machine on sleep mode. I will attach the perfmon/ report and Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 zip file. I also used process explorer to record some dll logs after crashes. I can attach those.

This is the retail version with no changes to the Lenovo G570

finished recommendations

Hi, I finished the recommendations suggested and will attach the check disk results. The sfc was okay. Also, I know what clocking speed is, but I wouldn't even know how or if I was overclocking somehow. If you could give me an example that would be much appreciated. Thank you for your help.

bdfwfpf	ROOT\LEGACY_BDFWFPF\0000	This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed.
You still have remnants of BitDefender on your system. Please make sure all of BitDefender is removed. You may have to uninstall your current security software, install BitDefender again, and then remove using the removal tool provided in How to uninstall BitDefender

Based on your crash codes, I suspect the remnants of BitDefender are the cause of the crashes. It is likely conflicting with your current security setup. I apologize for not finding this when I analyzed the first time, but I was rushing to get out the door and just did a cursory analysis. Do the above steps and then upload a new msinfo32 log.

To get the msinfo32 log: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Save -> Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

msinfo32 posting

Hi, thank you for your help. I just ran the bitdefender removal tool without re-installing the program, and looking at the perfmon report I just ran it seems to be gone. But let me know if I need to re-install it still. It was a trial version, so I don't know that I will be able to reinstall it as the trial has expired.

Also, I was still curious about the overclocking you had mentioned.

Bitdefender does appear to be gone. Nice work!

Sorry I forgot to respond about the overclocking. Some system have automated overclocking installed as part of the motherboard utilities, but usually, overclocking has to be done through the BIOS. ATI graphics software can also sometimes provide overclocking without the user's knowledge. I do not see any of the loaded modules that usually correspond to automated overclocking, so unless you did any manual changes to voltages, timings, etc. I do not believe you have overclocking enabled. Most pre-manufactured systems made by companies like Lenovo do not allow BIOS changes, so I would be surprised if you had tweaked anything through the BIOS.

To be sure the BIOS is performing optimally, you can enter it when the system starts (see your system manual for steps to do so), go into the Exit section of the BIOS, and load setup defaults. After saving and exiting, the system will reset itself to the optimal settings for stability.

How is the system currently responding after removing Bitdefender's remnants?

Hi, I recently had this error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL I was unable to catch the code with it, but I looked at the performance report and uninstalled the vurtual miniport. This was after the crash. I attached the minidump file and the performance report. I was just about to post about my pc being better too, not out of the woods yet though.

Your latest crash blames your Citrix Deterministic Network Enhancer Miniport or Cisco Systems VPN Client. Good steps in removing it, though I suspect it may be related to security software. You may be able to install it again if you need it after proceeding with the following...

You have Bullguard, Comodo internet security, and Malwarebytes installed. Bullguard and Comodo are accomplishing essentially the same task, and they may try to access system files at the same time which can result in crashes. Malwarebytes is designed to work alongside other security software, so I do not think it needs to be removed at this time. I would recommend you choose between Bullguard and Comodo Internet Security and remove the one you do not want. See if that provides more stability.
