I have recently started having a number of blue screens, seemingly at random. Most of the time, my computer isn't even in active use when it happens. PC is quite new so this makes me doubt it's hardware, however I'm sure the dumps will confirm?

I have attached some dump files that my computer generated. Thank you to anyone willing to help.

Hello patch first could you please follow this
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.
*(pretyped to save time)

Now there are a couple of bugchecks that could indicate hard or software causes

So for starters has there been any recent hardware or software changes? and can you make sure all the cards sticks and cables are reseated and firmly in place. It would be a good time to see if the machine requires cleaning out inside the case too.

Just out of interest I see the system is Enterprise so is this machine a company one and do you have admin rights to it?? I ask because if there needs to be any scans/chnages made or done then usually company machines require one to have those rights

Hi ICIT, thank you for your reply.

I have now updated the system specs using the System Info tool and copied them to my forum profile which will hopefully help.

No hardware changes as PC is quite new, case never opened. Only new hardware attached is a USB memory stick?

Machine is Enterprise and I do have full admin rights on the machine so can carry out any scans or changes. Would it be worth carrying out an SFC /scannow or flash the BIOS?

Thanks.

Please run the DM Log Collector again and upload a new zip, the current uploaded one misses several logs.
You could check if there are
  1. 18 .txt,
  2. 1 .nfo,
  3. 1 or more .dmp,
files present, if this is the case then all logs are present :)
If there are a few missing, no problem as we can get them manually if required :)

Thanks Axe. Now re-run the DM Collector which has exported the correct amount of files this time (attached file updated to original post).

Ok mate now I see what it is now and these are the drivers updates should we need them
Drivers & Software for HP EliteDesk 800 35W G2 Desktop Mini PC - HP Support Center. it has a link for updates to be advised too which is good.

Now please read this if the BIOS has to be updated as well it can be a risky action if not done properly
HP Support document - HP Support Center
Now if you read that then it might be an idea to jot down the BIOS version as seen it the system window >
Start > type "msinfo32" (without quotes) > click on the blue window that appears it will go to the system information the BIOS version will be displayed.

But don't do anything until axe has had a look at what I have posted first.
