I've been having multiple BSODs for a while now. There has not been a day (when XP was installed) where the system does not crash. I've done many troubleshooting tips through searching online, from installing the latest drivers, to installing a fresh copy of Windows; nothing has worked so far.

I've run Memtest86 for 24 hours (no problems), and ran DSKCHK to fix and repair the hard drive multiple times. BSODs still occur.

I uploaded a screenshot of the problems shown in BlueScreenView, to show a glimpse of how much I've suffered. >.<

I hope all these BSODs will be put to rest. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replies. I just uninstalled AVG with the AVG removal tool. I have MSE and Windows Firewall running now. I'll keep everyone posted if any new BSODs occur.

Thanks again!

Another BSOD

I was just going to post up that I was not having any errors or BSODs since the full removal of AVG, and installation of MSE, until speaking of the devil, another BSOD!

I took a look at the PERFMON report at apparently, there are two problems with the drivers: the modem (which I disabled myself), and a PnP device which is something I cannot find or detect.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Bump. There has been no BSODs since the last post, but I am beginning to think about doing a clean install of Windows 7 on the system. I would like to see some possible solutions prior to clean installing, to at least know the problem.

Thanks, once again in advance!

Since there have been no replies for the past two weeks on this issue, I have decided to mark this thread as solved.

I have done the troubleshooting tips recommended on a few websites:
- reseated cables and connections
- tested and retested RAM, processor, video card, hard drives
- formatted and clean installed Windows 7
- installed latest driver updates
- installed Windows updates

The clean installation of Windows 7 was made yesterday, and all latest drivers and Windows updates have been installed today. No problems or BSODs have occurred so far.
