Multiple BSODS: New Toshiba Laptop, Win7 x64

I recently purchased a Toshiba Satellite A505-S6960 Laptop that came with Windows Vista x64 and I did a clean install of Windows 7 x64 Professional and things worked fine for about a month and now i'm getting BSOD's every day. I'm getting multiple BSODs, not just one type.

One of them refers to the file - luafv.sys and says

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA


The other BSOD is a generic one that only gives me technical codes, no other references:

0X0000007F (0X0000000000000008, 0X0000000080050033, 0X00000000000406F8, 0XFFFFF80002A4879

Can you go into c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us for debugging.

Are you running an Instant Messaging client, and if so which?

Can you run a system file check to verify your sytem files it is run by
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin> SFC /SCANNOW

Do I need to create the zip file using winzip?


No I am not using any instant messaging...

Win7 has the zip function built-in.
Just select the files that you want to zip, then right click on them and select "Send to", then select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and it'll zip right up for you.

I've been running avast anti-virus, ad-aware and ZoneAlarm firewall.. Which is the cause?

Roger that. I actually disabled all 3 of them from starting up when the PC starts, so far I haven't had any BSODs since. I am pretty unsecure at this point though since I have nothing running.

What are people using for free anti virus on windows 7? Avast was a great program and it stinks that I can't run it in Win7. It's funny too because avast' web site says that it is compatible with Windows 7 and it passed Microsoft's tests and will run "reliably" in Windows 7.
