Keep blue screening, but only while playing Witcher 3 and only in the last week or so (after installing expansion data or could be due to a GOG update, hard to tell as both have occurred within the last week or so I believe so not sure which may be triggering the issues. I have the game on GOG and have tried a million fixes, but none work, so I am just hoping that something helpful might be learned from my .dmp files to help me figure out what is causing the issue.

I have updated to the latest drives and am not currently running antivirus software that could be conflicting. I have also turned off things like Gefore Experience and the GOG in-game overlay (and 100 other things), so this is my last hope.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated (ok if you can solve this, then I'd actually love you forever and might be willing to give you my first born). :o

I'm hoping all my system spec info I filled out when I registered is visible, if not I can reply with that info. I also took a picture of my last two BSOD, so can upload those if needed as well. Just let me know.

Thanks,
Stacy

Hello stacy and welcome to 7forums! :)

Thankfully all the BSOD files point to what is causing your computer to crash.

All are pointing to graphics card drivers problems, either they are faulty or old.

Please use this tutorial to remove and install new fresh ones:
Display Driver Uninstaller

Cheers, Boris :)

First of all, thank you Boris!!! :)

I'm not sure what to do then, as I'm definitely familiar with updating my video card drivers, but my issue is that I've moved to the newest driver they offer, rolled back to the 2 before that, and when I still was getting crashes in game, even tried reverting back to like 8 drivers prior...one from back in Oct'15. None of them seemed to do the trick though, as I get crashes no matter what, and every other crash is a BSOD.

Not sure what other options there are other than the above. I guess I didn't try EVERY single driver from their most recent to the Oct one, but just figured if none of those four solved the issue, that must not be it...but if my crash files are indicating a driver issue...then I'm stumped. Any other suggestions perhaps?

Thanks!

I typically use the "express installation" method. Should I manually download perhaps and do a custom install? I'm just not sure what else to do....

About to go try a few other drivers now and see if I have any luck, but if that doesn't work, I just don't know.

Well Stacy,

I'm pretty sure by using the express installation it automatically install without deleting previous drivers.

And if you select the custom you can choose to make a clean installation. <-- I would strongly recommend!

Cheers, Boris :)
