My Dad's pc was running solid for about 3 years but it started to blue screen randomly this August. Did a clean install of Windows last October. The system had a malware infection at one point but I can't remember if that was before or after I had re-imaged it.

Troubleshooting performed:
Reinstalled video drivers (system was blue screening when launching ecabs at one point)
sfc - no corrupt files or integrity violations
crystaldisk - drive health good
memtest - 12 hrs no errors
prime95 - 12 hrs no errors
OCCT - errors on core 3
-Disabled turbo boost in bios
-reran OCCT - no errors (large dataset 1hr)
chkdsk - no errors
chkntfs - both C: and D: clean
Ran Driver Verifier (unchecked low resources simulation) 48 hours no blue screen

Sorry about that, had refreshed when writing up the initial post and didn't realize it wasn't still attached. Attached to original post.

Hello, Thanks for posting up the files.

From the crash files, it's blaming the memory for every possible cause:
Code:
Probably caused by: [COLOR="Red"]memory_corruption[/COLOR]
Lets run a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
   Tip
Remember to run this test for a minimum of 8 passes!

Post back results.

Hey Justin,

Got my dad to give up his box so I could work on it at my place and found there were 6 more bsods since the last post.

Windbg shows all 6 as:
Code:
Probably caused by : memory_corruption

Followup: memory_corruption
Grabbed the latest version of memtest and a quick pass showed multiple errors. Next steps are probably going to be test one stick at a time, an rma, and a clean install of Windows.

I had almost dismissed your suggestion to run memtest as it had already been done once, but then I remembered I never saw the results just that he said there were no errors. Thank you for the second set of eyes; I'll update with how things turn out.

-David

Post up the new crash files so I can take a look at those too. Just to make sure that there isn't anything else going on.

You do not need a clean install of windows. You will need to test 1 stick at a time though.

I had almost dismissed your suggestion to run memtest as it had already been done once, but then I remembered I never saw the results just that he said there were no errors.

You can do what you please as we can only make suggestions. However, I believe if I go to a forum full of experts I'd take there suggestion even if it has already been done for their personal cross-off list. This way they can narrow it down to what they have seen in the past.

My apologies, I realize my previous post was both arrogant and dismissive. I work as a desktop/server systems support specialist five days a week and it's not often I have to ask for help and this has been quite humbling. In short, thank you I very much appreciate you taking your time to help.

As for the memory, the first stick had multiple errors after two passes but the second one ran overnight with no errors. Went ahead and started the RMA process with Patriot.

The 4 newest crash files are attached, I miscounted 6 the first time.
