Solved Multiple computers, one monitor?

Just thinking out loud here.
I have three displays (left/center/right) that I use with Windows 7. I have an older computer that will have XP on it for older games. Can I connect the center display to the older computer using the DVI or VGA port (currently using the display port with Windows 7) and select which input I want to use on the display? Right now I have Input Source set to "auto".

I do have the ability to run XP mode on this computer but I'm not sure how 3D games would run.

I already done it. As Input Source is set to "auto", it will run the Win XP if the main computer is off.

I have 4 comps connected via a four port KVM switch to my 'center' monitor. Two are connected (video) via hdmi/dvi cables to two (l & r) 16-9 monitors. I have them 'color coded'. If they're all off, just turn on the one I want to use. If one is on, push/select KVM (color) for another computer & turn on the appropriate monitor.
(Actually I have a two port KVM plugged into one of the ports on the four port KVM, I can plug any comp, inc. laptops in a fifth set of leads) It does work.

Thanks for the ideas.
A couple weeks ago, I took my displays off my desk to make a new small shelf that sits under the displays. Fell at work and hurt my wrist so I wasn't able to do anything. Now that I'm a little better I need to get the shelf finished and start measuring for the proper length of cables I'll need.
