Multiple Crashes On New Build Despite Three Reinstalls Of Windows

I recently build a new computer and installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit but I'm experiencing a range of problems.

Almost all programs or utilities I download or attempt to install from CD fail giving me an error similar to the download package is corrupt.

Windows Updates almost always fail, often giving me a BSOD. I have to install one update at a time and restart before attempting the next (and still most require half a dozen attempt to install)

My computer restarts by itself every now and again and Windows gives me an error message (Windows has recovered from an unexpected shut down) This can happen within minutes or hours of the system being on.

Internet Explorer and Firefox often crash and I can only get them working by rebooting.

I have tried the following:

Reinstalling Windows three times (twice on my SSD once on a HDD)
Fitting different RAM and running MEM Check (which passed)
Overclocking and stressing my CPU (which held-up)
Installing latest drivers for MB, and VGA
Removing the SSD
Installing a new power supply.
Using a select start-up with MSCONFIG

None of which worked. My CPU runs between 30 - 36C and system average is 23C so it's not an over heating issue

I don't know a massive amount about computers but I have tried everything I could think off. Any and all help would be great.

Intel i5 3450 CPU
MSI Z77MA-G45 motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz
Seasonic 600w PSU
Onboard Graphics (until I can afford to get a proper card)

Many thanks
