Hello everyone I currently have a Dell windows 7 desktop. I was uninstalling some unnecessary programs and all of the sudden I can open any of my downloaded programs. It gives different error messages such as file path not found or just freezes up. Also the browser crashes and throws out error such as 404 not found and aw snap. I tried to take it to a previous restore point and that still did not work. I have tried searching the solutions to the error messages but nothing seems to fix it all.

Welcome to Seven Forums Chitownchicken. You say you tried a restore point and it did not work. Did the restore point restore successfully, or did it fail to restore? This was a restore point from before you started to make any changes? The restore method, if successful would be your easiest option.

I would run the System file checker and see if it finds and corrects any issues

If no help, can you post some screenshots of the various errors you get, and what action resulted in each error.
