I tried that but when I disable an extension in one instance, it gets disabled in the other too. My requirement is that an extension should be enabled in one instance & the same extension should be disabled in another instance. Is this possible?
I don't think that is possible with installed chrome but you should be able to do it using portable versions alongside the installed one.
