Thank you all in advance who decide to help me or even just read my posts, I must preface my request for help with the following disclaimer. I at one time was fairly competent with computers but after several head traumas and other injuries have taken their toll and I get frustrated and confused at times over the most simple of issues yet breeze through more complex ones.

My system spec page is current as of yesterday. Now onto my current issues.

Recent Changes by me in the last week
--- Installed NVIDIA Graphics Driver 347.88 on Thu 19Mar14 (successfully)
--- Installed HD Audio Driver 1.3.33.0 on Thu 19Mar14 (successfully)
--- Uninstalled Kaspersky 3.0 on Thu 19Mar14 (unknown success)
--- Attempted to update and/or reinstall Firmware and driver files from Gigabyte website.
-- 1st recent attempt on Thu 19Mar14
-- 2nd recent attempt on Fri 20Mar14 -
-VIA Envy HD Audio driver -- Successfully
-Intel Management Engine Interface -- Questionable Success
-Intel INF Instalation -- Failure to install Failure to rollback
-Atheros LAN driver -- Failed install failed reboot until Win7 USB drive used
--- Reinstalled with dubious success Kaspersky 3.0 Pure on Sun 22Mar14 after system booted 'normally'
System then crashed and rebooted to a CHKDSK with multiple errors.
--- Boot Memory check with enhanced settings, cache on and 3 passes claim no errors.

Major recurring or major interment issues since Thu 19Mar14
--- Windows Installer Inoperable
-- Unable to uninstall pretty much anything at this time
-- Able to install some programs with dubious success.
--- Multiple programs fail to start
--- Unable to 'save as' any file in any program that starts.
--- Unable to Access 'Action Center' by any known means
--- Event Viewer opens but temperamental and slows or locks up when opening any event
-- In last hour 0 Critical, 0 Errors, 3 Warnings. (Composing this for at least this long)
-- In last 24 hours 0 Critical, 63 Errors, 27 Warnings.
--- Kaspersky repeatedly fails at boot up.
-- On every boot up in every profile a Kaspersky 3.0 Pure support Pop-Up appears stating Kaspersky crashed. Said Pop-Up freezes up for over a minute then a 'Program stopped working' pop up appears and if I do not cancel that pop up the initial pop up stays for minutes longer. After cancelling 'program stopped' pop-up, Kaspersky restarts and process repeats at least three more times.
-- On most recent boot up "pop up file for AVG.exe --- "The Instruction at 0x6eee70de3 referenced Memory at 0x000000c. The memory could not be read."
--- USB Keyboard shuts off for various duration with USB disconnect sound. Occurred three times as I composed this (USB mouse unaffected).

Symptoms before Thu 19Mar14
--- Kaspersky 3.0 tended to crash randomly with only known solution to reinstall program.
--- Any USB Mouse shuts off for various duration with USB disconnect sound. (USB Keyboard unaffected)

Minor current issue
---Only Windows based sounds working
-- No sound for any video or program aside from windows based responses.

I think this about covers my current travails. I apologize for its length. I performed SFC /scannow with CBS logs yesterday that revealed multiple files that it was unable to repair or verify components. I will gladly post any files needed if directed to the forum post on where to find them and how to post them. I recall seeing it posted more than once here but have issues in locating again.

That is a mess to even start with, windows was installed in 2013 and you are having all these problems.

I would re install windows, I wouldn`t think twice about it.

Unplug every other hard drive but the drive you want to install windows on. (very important)

Windows Installer inoperable ?

Where did it come from ?

Excellent job filling out your specs, wish more people could do it that good :D

The only driver you need after an install are the network drivers so you can get online, (they are on the cd that came with your motherboard) then run ALL rounds of windows update, when they are ALL done, then you can check Device Manager for any missing drivers.

All of the problems started this last week. Before then I only had the Kaspersky random crash and the USB Mouse shutting off intermittently. I generally don't have an issue with a fresh install just hoped to see if there was a glimmer of hope in unscrewing myself as I have several student edition licences for Autodesk programs that I won't be able to recover. That and I seem to lost at least 10 to 15% of my documents and photos with every fresh install but that is more to my lack of general organization.

Yes windows 7 was clean installed in 2013. I had planned on doing it on my nifty 3TB hard drive but my recall was slow on the 2TB limit for win 7 that I was unable to work around. The other reason I wanted to hold off was my desire to do the fresh OS install on an SSD that I've yet to buy...

I'm not sure what you are referring too when asking about where it came from. If you mean the windows installer I'm referring too the organic installer to Win 7 is inoperable. If you mean where I got the OS License it was from my ex bro-in-law who had a MS Subscription allowing X amount of installation licenses for his now failed system building business.

Thank you for the Spec entry compliment. I find it easier to give more information then asked and let the reader sort it out than for me to try an assume or read someones mind as to what they need or want.

Do a system restore back before you started having problems.

I would get rid of Kaspersky.

We recommend Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and that`s it :)

Yes, I meant where did the Windows 7 installer come from. If you just make a copy of it, it should be fine for future installs.

Yeah Kaspersky has been more trouble than its worth. Subscribed to them now for about 4 years and each year it gets more unstable. No restores show up. I guess all roads lead to clean install, I just have to move anything I want to save onto my 2TB(1TB non partitioned) HDD. Also trying to make a list of everything I might need access too without internet connection.

Sorry for the confusion. The installer I was talking about is the 'Program and Features' installer. I get errors anytime I try and uninstall a program from my working profile or my Admin Profile. This has cascaded to the installers of other software.

As for the actually Windows 7 install 'disk' I have an ISO omni version (EF File removed) bootable installed on a USB drive. This leads me to a question I meant to ask. Is it possible to do a system repair with the USB drive instead of the (I assume) corrupted source files on my C Drive?

AddRAM has given some great advice.

If it was my computer I would do a Clean Install after backing up my data. Their are just to many normal Windows 7 things that are not working to peace meal problems like this.

Just a thought before you get into a clean install.
Make sure you have a proper COA key for your exact Windows 7 and your system.

This is questionable in my mind. I'm really sure what it is.
From post #8

As for the actually Windows 7 install 'disk' I have an ISO omni version

If you want to know what Windows7 and Microsoft says about your install you can do this tutorial by Brink and post the log here.

Jack means, what is an omni version ?

Where did it come from ?

As far as loosing data, you should not be storing any data you haven`t already backed up on your windows partition.

Everything is here to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall Windows 7.

You could also first try uninstalling Kaspersky, in Safe Mode if necessary, replacing it with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Then run a full scan with MSE and Malwarebytes also in Safe Mode if necessary, before checking your System files with SFC /SCANNOW Command.

Establish a Clean boot by unchecking everything in msconfig>Startup and >Services (after Hiding all MS Services). Leave only MSE in either place.

If it is more functional after rebooting then Enable hardware auto-updating via Windows Update (Steps 3 and 6)
to Check for Updates, install all Important and Optional Updates, with requested reboots, until no more are offered when you Check.

If these don't help then I'd wipe all partitions during a booted Clean Reinstall Windows 7

Thank you that is exactly what I mean.

I'm suggesting you shouldn't start a Clean Install until you make sure all your ducks in a row.
Knowing the condition of the install you have now will let you know if this (ISO omni version) will be able to give you a proper install and activation.

All I meant by Omni version is that it is is a Win 7 64 Bit ISO made bootable by tutorial with the Windows7-USB-DVD-Download-Tool-Installer-en-US application. the whole Omni part is just that I Renamed the ei.cfg file to ei.bak in the sources folder.

Thanks for posting the log.

Their is a error.
I'm not sure what it means and I will ask a expert to take a look.

What I try to say.

Is it's a good idea to make sure the install media that is going to use will give you a proper install before you get in the middle of doing the install. Seeing how the install went the last time using that install media will get a good idea how it will work again.

That is the first step of getting your ducks in a row.
