Hi All,

I work for a college and we are about to roll out a lot of T430s machines. We have some already in use by faculty and staff and we are getting BSODs/reboots on different machine types. We have some that are running 32bit and 64bit win7 Enterprise.

I am attaching 4 different sf diag results from 2 32bit and 64bit problematic and no problem machines.

As of yet, we have no parts to test with and we are trying to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any and all help!

forgot to add that hardware tests have been run on virtually all hardware components (cpu, hdd, systemboard, memory) and no failures. we have used a Lenovo factory OS install and still get blue screens.

Same Problems

Hi there, I am at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and we are having the same problems.

I have read our dump files and they look like this:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
Locale ID: 1033
Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA8009B12028
BCP3: 00000000B2000000
BCP4: 0000000000100402
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Then I used another program to read the dump files and got these two things that were causing the crash:

hal.dll hal.dll+12a3b fffff800`031f1000 fffff800`0323a000 0x00049000 0x4ce7c669 11/20/2010 8:00:25 AM

ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+18cb03 fffff800`02c09000 fffff800`031f1000 0x005e8000 0x4fa390f3 5/4/2012 3:18:59 AM Microsoft® Windows® Operating System NT Kernel & System 6.1.7601.17835 (win7sp1_gdr.120503-2030) Microsoft Corporation C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Further investigation of the stop code 124 reveiled that it could be heat and with the slim models like we have that could be the issue, but it also said memory or the CPU could be the culprit.

Please post back and let me know if you found anything that can help Fractopia
