Multiple problems with computer, do not know cause

Hi there ,
This is my first post.

I am trying to help my friend fix their computer , and hopefully you guys can help . The computer has multiple problems which may or not be linked :

Problem 1) The audio service does not run , there is a red cross by the volume control icon , I tried enabling the audio service , but there was no success , I read online about enabling the power service , but this does not enable, and in the description it says "<Failed to read description. Error code 2>

Problem 2) When i click on the battery icon on the notebook , it says the RPC server is unavailable , I have no idea what this means

Problem 3) When I try to click properties of something nothing comes up , e.g hard drive properties

Problem 4) regedit and msconfig do not load : "The application was unable to start correctly"

I hope you can help me with solving these problems

Run SFC -SCANNOW Command to repair any corrupt or damaged system files. If irreparable files are found after several repairs, consider a Repair Install. We can help you find an installer for your licensed version.

Enter Device Manager to check for any drivers missing or in error (!). Uninstall the Sound driver, reboot to reinstall it. See if there is a newer driver for this or any other devices in optional WIndows Updates, or on the Audio device's Support Downloads webpage.
