Multitasking slow

Hi,

I've had Windows 7 since release and when i do any multitasking windows becomes very slow. For example, when i burn a DVD/CD or encode a video, everyhing else becomes very slow. Basically if i do any multitasking windows lags, i never had this problem with vista.

Sytem spec:

• i7 920 @ 3.8ghz(currently at stock settings)
• 6gb DDR3 Tri-Channel PC3-12800
• Asus rampage 2 extreme
• ATi 5850 with 10.7 drivers
• Creative X-Fi Platinum
• Corsair TX 750W
• Western Digital VelociRaptor 300GB (windows drive)
• Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB (media drive)
