Every time I open Media Center in Windows 7 after a fresh boot my music library is empty even though it has the correct directory on my NAS listed under the library settings. Same if I open Windows Media Player after a fresh boot.

If I remove my music directory then add it again - it rescans and all files reappear. Then it will stay fine until I reboot.

Thoughts???

I assume when you say NAS it is truly a network storage. It seems that your computer is slow to acquire connectivity to your nas, hence the empty library. Do this as a test, create a library from a local folder, and see if the same thing happens. I think there is a registry setting that you can edit address that. I will try to find it for you.
