Hi
I have a desk top Dell with windows 7. It works fine unless you shut it off or do a restart. Then I get blue screen full of writing breifly and it will only start in safe mode. Then set it back to restore point two days ago and it will boot up and run fine, just can't shut it off or install a new program that needs a restart

Please advise Thank you Tom

I think I have it this time
thanks Tom

Could somone please look at this. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out how to load the bsod program on the post and now it's buried on the third page. I tried to look at some debugging programs but that is so far over my head that it would be a total waste of time.

Thank You Tom

Hello,

It appears that your Dell wireless adapter is causing the problem. I can't seem to find a driver update for it.

Could you try your hand at updating the drivers? If you can't find any newer ones (dated later than 6/5/2009), I recommend that you disable the device in Device Manger, and use the Ethernet instead.

For some reason, dumps are not being created. Are you using any cleaning tools? If so, they are what I suspect are deleting the dumps.

Thanks so much for looking at this. I don't use wireless, so I will open the case pull it out and toss it. Then delete driver.
Thanks again Tom

Works like a charm. I restarted about six times, you just reduced my stress level quite a bit. These machines will do that to you !

Thanks Tom
