I have MegaTrends version 204 bios on my Asus P53E notebook. I am unable to find an option for choosing USB as the first boot drive.
I created a bootable USB stick for a clean install. Am I going to have to use a CD as the boot device or is there something I am missing?

Try using the One Time Boot Menu.

Thanks. I had to go to Asus support to find out how to access the 'one time boot menu'.
After finding the correct way it was simple.
