My BSOD Problem...

Hi all,

Had some problems with my PC lately having had two BSOD while playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online multiplayer. Seems to happen after a match or two.

Ran verifier earlier and would crash before I could login.

I did have a hard disk error a month ago which I replaced and used Acronis True Image WD Edition to copy over Windows and my back-ups. Could this have caused the problem? BF: BC2 was not installed at the time.

Anyway I'm not very tech-savvy unfortunately  so please bear with me and thanks in advance.

Hello,

Uninstall Gigabyte Easy Tune 6 (ET6), as it was the likely cause of at least two of the BSODs. Also, install the latest Realtek HD Audio drivers from here: Realtek
Code:
RTKVHD64.sys Tue Jan 04 06:48:55 2011 (4D230927)
You might also want to run a hard drive test with SeaTools: SeaTools for Windows | Seagate
