Ok, Basically I have been having problems with my computer crashing whilst doing certain things such as browsing the internet or running a game such as Call Of Duty Modern Warfare but not specifically that one. This started happening A while ago and i have been attempting to fix it myself using your forums and other sources of information. I have tried many things including wiping my hard drive and making a clean install of windows (I thought this may help after an incident using a Stardock theme that ruined my default icon images). I have also updated all my drivers to the latest versions as i have read that fixes most problems. So i'm currently running a Clean install of windows and The latest drivers my bios is also the latest for my motherboard.
The Latest crash came about after I installed COD MW via Steam, during the first time setup when it was configuring punkbuster it crashed, my first question therefore is 'Has anyone previously mentioned problems with Punkbuster, steam or CODMW?'
I have read from other posts that there dump files mentioned ntoskrnl being the cause of the crash as does my dump file, i also read that if ntoskrnl were the problem then there would be far worse problem. So i don't know, does anyone have any answers as to what my latest dump file mean (attached) and my other question. One last thing, i recently installed Ubuntu on my hard drive, Ubuntu runs great and i have never had a crash with it, i'm therefore pretty certain this is not a hardware problem.
Thankyou
