My cat spilled milk in my computer, Some of my ram isn't working..

So 2 days ago i woke up to the sound of a cup falling over so i got out of bed and found my cat licking milk off of my dresser and i saw it dripping into my computer. My computer turned on somehow even though i turned it off the night before so i think the milk did something.. anyways i opened my pc up and took some tissues and q tips and cleaned it off as quick as i could. There was milk on my Video card, Ram, and a little on my mobo. My ram had the least amount on it, so after i cleaned it off i let it sit out over night and i turned it on yesterday and noticed i only have 6 gigs of ram installed and only 2 gigs available prior to the milk incident though i had 8 gigs and i was using it all. So i hopped on to LOL and played a match and after the game was over my pc went black screened itself and bits and pieces of my screen would show up like the windows on the bottom left. I turned my computer off but holding the power button and then turned it on like 15 minutes later, i played some league and Minecraft and everything was normal but my RAM. I took 1 ram stick out of the 2 that i have and my video card wouldn't boot unless i have both ram sticks in so i can't really take them out 1 by 1 or anything idunno why.. So how can i get my ram working properly again or does it sound like a stick is dead or something?
I don't know what Ram i have but i can open my pc up and take a look.

Sounds more like a problem with the main board rather than your RAM. You should not need both memory banks populated to turn the system on unless one bank or a particular stick/module is faulty.

Anyways on topic I would test each ram stick you have separate and see if it still crashes or not and see if it can read them. Could also be that your motherboard just went bad since it got wet thus damaged possibly like prostar said. Another possibility is that only 1 of the slots on the motherboard went bad and thus should avoid using that one but this will require testing each ram stick separate and seeing how they act on each slot your motherboard has for ram.
