Solved My Daily backup cannot be seen on restore

i will post this issue here, because i cannot get into 8 forums it was blocked by our firewall in the company.
Also, it is a Backup of our Windows Server 2012. I think this is same as windows 8.

Now, i made a daily backup of our server including the System, drive D and drive E. where important files are stored. Last night there was power failure and the battery backup failed also, exactly when my backup starts.
The issue is i need to restore files from the previous day because some files where corrupted on drive E.

But!,

When i do a system restore, the back-up cannot be seen on the restore.
i can access the HDD, i can navigate into it, and i can see the .VHDX file.

Anyone could help or guide me please.

You can try to mount the VHD(s) and recover it from there. Here is how:

Do i need to rename the VHD that i am going to attach ?
