Solved My google crome icon in the activity bar is weird!

Its very strange how it keeps coming back .. I use Chrome have never had any problems no crashes nothing

well my whole laptop is weird

You have a G6 there a pretty good machine ... If you are still using AVG personally i would dump that .. Seems that it causes more problems than it cures MSE could be a good choice

well, it has helpt me from a lot of stuff avg, but i could try that program, im totally open for free improvements and yeah, the g6 is pretty good, my version is not avalible at any place now though, it has a Amd A8 cpu wich you reallu cant find at all on a laptop within that prize. and to my suprise, its focused for gaming, so its about the same performance as a computer for 1000$ for 4 years ago. no joke, im having a 4 year old desktop for 1000$

I deleted chrome again and this time i deleted my settings and such and now hopfullt the icon wont duplicate, it looks promesing

Sorry I didn't see this earlier (work week ). The 2 icon issue has been well discussed from my memory, a "fix" was this:

To solve this issue do the following:
Start Google Chrome (this creates a new taskbar icon);
Right click on the new icon and select "Pin this program to taskbar";
Go to: %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar;
You will see the two pinned Google Chrome.lnk here. Delete the Google Chrome.lnk and make Google Chrome (1).lnk readonly (Right Click -> Properties -> General tab -> tick Read-only -> Click OK);

Thank you! For the moment it was only one pinned program but i followed the tutorial anyway so hopefully the problem will never come back again! Thank you again!
