Congratulations again to you all,

boohbah, that is incredible. Twice around his neck AND a knot.
"Miracle baby" is almost an understatement. Glad it all worked out well for you and yours.

Our grandson had issues when i started this thread, with similar problems, though nothing as bad as yours. Also involved the cord around his neck. His heart beat went as low as 45, i found out this morning. Went up to 55, for some time, and got back up to around 135 - 140, or something like that. In the end, due to some complications, the doctor opted for C-section.

Looks almost like a figure eight, used in fencing.
Yes, Joan is a wise, experienced lady. :D

We are preparing for the worst, if he is anything like his father. "Little bugger" doesn't do it justice. 32 years ago, barely able to walk, he would touch the TV and audio equipment. Mum told him, NO Scott, many times, resorting to smacks on the hand and pulling him away. Didn't stop him, just kept going back and playing with the knobs and things. The only reason he stopped touching it, was when HE decided he did not want to anymore. Today, he is still as determent as ever.

We don't believe in making the whole house baby/child proof. It's up to the parents, or us, to control the kids. We can close the back room off with french doors, which is the easiest way to keep them away from the computers, etc.
Everyone has their own computer here, with back up comps running, printers, scanners and speakers everywhere. Sally and i both have 2 screens each.
Place looks like a NASA control centre.

Jon

It does doesn't it, my grandson is a bit like that goes right up to the TV and it's usually sticky hand prints all over the screen after he's gone. His little brother is trying to copy him but can only reach the Sky box and Video at present so it's a question on grabbing him and pulling him away and distracting him with toys.

At his own home they have one of those large extending fire guards around the cabinet that holds the TV and all the boxes, at present computer wise my daughter has her laptop and that's in it's own bag and just comes out when they go for their mid day nap or after they've gone to bed at night.

Here the computer rooms are closed when they come over ;)
